History
Kathy Martin started the business in 1996, shortly after returning to the Boise area and recognizing the opportunity to put her business experience and education in strategic planning, business management, and marketing to work in the growing Treasure Valley area.

While developing strategic and operational business and marketing plans for start-ups and established businesses, it became apparent that a lack of marketing experience and expertise were at the root of a majority of business challenges faced by client companies.

Today SMC focuses on delivering marketing expertise and education to clients who want to develop professional marketing skills and expertise within their own organizations.
